Meet the Manager
Darlene Scarborough has over 35 years of experience in the financial service industry. She started her career as a teller, and with a lot of hard work, stumbling, learning, and growing, she now a Multi-Site Leader overseeing SECU’s Towson and Timonium financial centers.
Whether providing financial literacy, assisting with a loan, or advising a member about a product, Darlene and her team are fostering meaningful relationships. She runs SECU’s largest center, achieving that through being a trusted partner.
Darlene is proud of SECU’s culture and her team of rock stars. They celebrate life’s successes together and support each other through life’s changes. They bowl together and have a birthday club. That camaraderie spills over into service her team provides our members.
Meet the Mortgage Loan Officer
Mindy Warthen has been a trusted Mortgage Consultant for over 20 years. She simplifies the mortgage process and makes the experience easy to navigate. She originates loans throughout Maryland and the surrounding states.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in the community.
