SECU aims to provide a seamless experience for all our users, including clear instructions on how to request the deletion of their accounts. Below, you’ll find detailed steps on how to proceed with your request and information on the data removed and retained during this process.

Steps to Request Account Deletion

Contact us to request that you would like to delete your credentials within the SECU Mobile Banking app by calling 800-879-7328.

Data Deletion from the App

When you request the deletion of your account, the following data will be deleted*:

  • Personal Information: All personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Transaction History: All records of your financial transactions within the app.
  • App Usage Data: Any data related to your interactions and usage of the SECU Mobile Banking app.

*Except for data we need to keep for security, fraud prevention or regulatory compliance reasons, such as login and authentication information, as well as your history of consents to receive notices and disclosures electronically.
